Just let me know when you're back in the south bay.

I noticed that the speedo has a black background. Most had a cream or silver background (don't remember which exactly). Could you post a close up pic of the speedo, please? I'm just curious.

Thanks.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard the ...uh board. I'm rather partial to 51's and it looks like you have a really solid starting place. Mine sat in a barn for about 25 years before I dragged her out and started working on her. My 239 v-8 was long gone when I got her, so I made her a 5.0 liter w/ C-4 auto daily driver. The guys on the board have been doing this stuff for a long time and are a wealth of good and even sometimes great info. ; )

Welcome to the Board !

That's a very solid looking truck. Much nicer than may of us begin with. Oh.... by the way.... there's something desparately wrong with your Grille.......

Stick around and you'll understand. Glad to have you with us.

bad eyes

owow you are going to have some fun with your truck. personally i always like ripping up and out the old and then looking and staring and thinking what the hell i am i doing. also i know i have cataracts and need lens implants but is the drive shaft crooked where it ties on to the rear end?

Regular Speedo's are silver that one is out of a 51 Ford Car I think. Stock silver speedo's are still available new at just about all the restoparts places btw

Or looking like the mouth of a whale!

A fine looking truck and grille indeed! Shoot we may have to talk you into five or even seven teeth!

PS: I saw one with 6 teeth the other day, I wonder how he did the spacing on that without cutting up the whole grille and the lower valance as well?
