2005 SD F350 hub help!

This is day 3 of my truck being down (only vehicle) with a bad wheel bearing. I can't seem to find the hub that is needed for my truck. All the local autopart stores have the wrong one for the 05' or mine is something extra special/ not right?

The outer bearing that rides on the inner part of the knuckle is almost 5 1/2" inches wide. On the front (tire side) the lockout hub splines are set deep in the hub and it's tapered.

I have attached a pic of the a new (supposedly 05 on right) hub and mine on the left. Hopefully somebody know what the hell I am looking at because I am in a bind right now. Can't leave the house either.

Well they list a different part number for single or dually. Doesn't describe what the difference is. They are the same for all 3 motors...

Did you try Ford? I generally don't buy parts from the dealer unless I have to, and quite often the price isn't too much more. Although some times it is double.

I just got off the phone with Timken. They do not offer the hub to the aftermarket yet, so napa, autozone, advanced won't have it yet. After countless conversations, it appears to be a dealer item only.

That's really odd they list the part then. Good luck. I don't know about parts stores around you, but my Carquest can get OEM dealer parts, usually a lot cheaper.

OK here is some more info directly from Timken. The mfr. part # the dealer will have will be F81Z4A322AA. (2nd digit is the model year ex. F6 =2006)

So any of you guys with 2005-2009 SD trucks that need front bearing hub assemblies the above part number is what you get from the Ford dealer.

When the aftermarket (IE autozone, napa, carquest) finally gets these, the part number will be SP940200
