Impressive! I know it's a small group that get over 700hp. The 1000hp group has to be real exclusive! I've only heard of one other guy hitting the 1000hp mark.

thats probably the highest i know of for if its a heui truck. there are other 7.3's that have the mechanical injection conversion running these things into the 1000's and closer to 2000hp... i won't use double overtime b/c he spent god knows how much on his "custom made heads" for the mechanical pump, but one example of another big hitter would be stroked out. he is way up there too using a mechanical pump.

do we know how much nitrous Mike was using on that dyno???

Yes it was with nitrous. 2 stages equal to a single .128 jet.

wow, i finally got to watch the vids(work computer wont go to youtube) and that thing spools FAST!!! that nitrous wasn't quite cleaning up the fuel either though. he could stand to probably throw a little bit more air at it and pull a little more out of it i bet, but i know those chargers are BIG BIG BIG!!!! wonder what a K31 with a procharger would do????

That 3rd run really lifted the truck off of the dyno. The turbo sound was awesome.

can you say WOP is gonna have to bring their race truck back to try to break Mike's upcoming PSD record?!?!?! that thing is going to be ballzzz fast! WOP's truck is like 871hp and runs high 10's Joe. so that means if this truck hooks up on the strip its going to roll the pavement up behind it. haha. He probably has a swamps bed plate or something in that thing and some bada$$ rods and pistons. i would like to know what parts he is using in his bottom end for sure!!

im seeing more fords coming up in the diesel world. it seems that our tuning is really coming around for these things and more and more ppl are starting to hold these engines together more around 600hp with the stock bottom end. i talked with the guys from TSD about their stroke that they had at our last drag race. the engine almost had 400,000 miles on it, but in good shape. bottom end has never been taken apart. the heads and head gaskets are stock with the exception of headstuds. twin turbos and fuel running around 600hp and mid and low 12's in the 1/4 all day long. that truck was impressive. I think we will start seeing more of these trucks come up as more and more parts are being made and tuning appears to be coming around.
