Found Some Wheels 6x7.25?

First, welcome to the group. You're right that those could be Ford rims. They could also have come from a Dodge or an IHC. The Goodyear LTS that you found is the design name for that style locking ring/outer rim combo. Both Budd and Kelsey Hayes made wheels like that. If they are a Budd brand wheel there should be other numbers on the back/concave side that I might be able to look up and give exact spec's on them. They would have a five digit number, and may have letters along with. If you find no numbers I'd guess they are K-H. Another thing to check is the size of the lug holes. The Budds used 5/8" lugs while the K-Hs used 9/16" lugs. Stu

Yeah, that answers the question about who made and sold them. Kelsey Hayes. The Goodyear info pertains only to the outer rim and locking ring. Back then all the truck wheel manufacturers used either Goodyear or Firestone designed/patented rim/ring combos. I've not been able to learn whether the main wheel companies (Budd, K-H, Motor Wheel Corporation, and Firestone) bought the rims/rings from GY and Firestone, or whether they simply licensed the designs and made their own.
Since we know the rim was made in 1949 it didn't come from a Ford. Ford didn't use that bolt pattern in 1949. Probably came from an IH L-120 would be my guess. And if that's right it's got 9/16" lug holes. The K-H part number for that rim should be #32735. The ring number should be #32120. If you scrape hard you might find the rim number stamped somewhere near the valve stem hole. I've seen K-H rims stamped there before. And while you're scraping, you might see if there are IH numbers on there. The IH rim number is #84606R91, and the ring number is #58282H. Stu

This is where the rims aren't gonna be too helpful to a Ford guy if I'm reading my books right. Fords, to my understanding, used the Budd version of this wheel in the same size and bolt pattern, but with the 5/8" lugs. If you guys that have this size rim on your F-350s could jump on here and confirm or correct me on that I'd appreciate.
If you are interested in selling the wheels, you might go to one of the IH sites and post them in their classified sections. Here's some links to good sites. Stu

Do you think they would work on the front of my 1967 International 1300 4x4?
One of the rear rusted out from mud in dually ( spare on now) but would not mind having two for the front. I use this truck all the time ( often loaded to max) and it shakes the steering at 43 mph and stops at 50mph.( feels like a up and down) Tire shops balanced the rims many times and said might be bent rim, thats way I keep looking for an answer.
Thank you very much for any help
PS. might have a cracked brake drum in back and need a parking brake cable

Thank for the reply
I have another idea, if you could be so kind to look in the book.
Will a 1968 International 1300 2wheel drive Dually with wrecker body, rims work for my 1967 international 1300 4x4 dually? Also around about weight of that 1968 because I have a 9 ton tri axle backhoe trailer behind a 99 f250 gas or a dodge 2500 diesel that would have to transport it 2 hours away
Thanks again
