I never ended up in Casper today Scott. The ceremony was only an hour or so and the round trip drive would have been close to 5 hours so I stayed home. I unpacked some stuff and put up Christmas lights around the house. Its way to early for my taste but the gf will appreciate it when she comes home. This afternoon I went out and put a few rounds through my 22-250. Weather is looking up some coyote hunting this weekend and I needed to get it sighted in.

There are people here in Omaha, with their outside lights hung (which I don't have a problem with) and turned on every night (which I think is stupid!).

You know, it's much easier if you just leave them up year round I was injured a few years back and I could not climb a ladder until mid summer. I decided just to be an idiot that I would run my Christmas lights from July 4th until the end of the month. I'm sure my neighbors thougth I was high or stupid or somthing, but I got a good laugh out of it.

Ahhh, the days of being single and stupid.

Yep, been up that way Scott. Not looking forward to the C-light thing. But if I don't, I'll never hear the end of it from the kids. I tend to go a little crazy with them too!

George, it's always good that your nieghbors think you're a little crazy, keeps them on their toes!!

Well, time for me to head boys. I'll stop by tomorrow.

Well, howdy Pat and all others that come this way this fine day. I personaly cannot believe Christmas is being pushed so hard so early this year but I have done a few simple things which will be good enough. Good luck with the coyotes Miles as it has been getting cold enough to turn them white I would think as for me after working this morning I have to butcher chickens this afternoon. I' am putting out time and feed and not getting eggs so it is time for a change.

Good morning Orin. I'm at work again today. Your right about the Christmas thing, it's barely the middle of November, and they are already having all those damn sales!

Ahh, just one of the nice things about living in the middle of nowhere. I am about 40 miles from a Walmart and never go so I don't see all the holdiay sales. I do remember a few years ago they took down the Christmas stuff and put up Valentine stuff the same day! Since when do we need a 2 month head start on hearts and cards????

The other side to country living is that I am 32 miles from the nearest fast food place, which can be good or bad depending on your eating habits.

Good morning Wyoming. George, Walmart is probably the worst of the offenders. I hate that place!

On another note, my stepson got his first buck yesterday, and a doe also!

Nice! You always remember your first kill.

Well, back at work for three days, then four days off till next week! I love my job, especially because I love my schedule.

I have tomorrow off, I'll need it! We were on a 4-10's schedule, but they put us back on eights, which is what I'll be working next month when we get back online. I'm going to miss that third day off every week!

I absolutely love my schedule. I work 3 days one week and 4 the next. Anything more than 14 days a month is overtime. The 12hr shifts can get long and tedious, but the days off are well worth it.
