I don't know if one can still find them online, but several years ago I found an AOL translator that had all those cool thing like LMAO, IMHO, LMOA ROF so I could figure out what people were saying.

Damn handy for us old guys.

Can't find the AOL 3nglish to english version, here is the english to AOL 3nglish version of the translator though.

Post internet acronym's 101

you can pretty much enter any internet term into your favorite search engine(thats your aol/google/msn/yahoo home page and hit search, and can find what they mean instantly.

this also come up with the search.
open this page:
- Definition by AcronymFinder
"right" click(thats the button on the other side of your mouse, that you dont use often lol)
select "add to favorites" or "bookmark this page".
now when you see a term often used on the net,you can go to your favs, open that site in your browser(thats IE/internet explorer for example lol) and enter for example "ROLFLMAO"
hehe.
enjoy.
