O2 sensor query

O.k., I have a 96 E.B. Bronco, I've removed the cats, and have dualed it out with glass packs down the passenger side. My question is, if I put the after cat o2 on one side of the exhaust, will it be enough of a difference to make the PCU think it still has a cat and keep it from throwing a CEL?

Without a cat the downstream O2 will not function properly, get an O2 eliminator to plug in instead.

O2 eliminators cannot be legally obtained in the US. Put a cat back on, you will produce more HP and torque with a properly functioning cat than without. With the glasspacks, it will be plenty loud. It you want it louder, eliminate the glasspacks and run just a cat.

"MIL Eliminators" do NOT eliminate the downstream sensor. The OBDII system still requires an operational sensor to be installed in the exhaust stream.

The MIL "eliminlator" simply modifies the output of the downstream sensor so it mimics the output of a sensor that is downstream from a functioning catalytic converter.

Ok, exhaust mods have been done, dual pipes down the passenger side into glasspacks, and turned out in front of rear wheel, with the o2 sensor installed in one side. No CEL, sounds good. Apparently with the o2 in just one side, cutting the down flow by half, tricks it into thinking it has a CAT. I didn't have the o2 installed properly before and had a constant CEL because of the lack of exhaust flow.
