02 Explorer sub popping

My 02 ford explorer pops intermitantly through the rear subwoofer when the left turn signal is applied. It only does this when the left turn signal is applied. My explorer is equipped with steering wheel mounted swithes. It has the factory ford 6 disc cd player and speaker system that is factory and has not been tampered with. Also my cruise control is also intermitant. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont. I was thinking that since all of these switches are in the steering wheel maybe they are all connected and just my switches are going bad. Has any of you ran into this or has any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
