I schooled a Dodge owner today...

This morning I took my bride out to breakfast and on the way home, i had to drive through the Ford dealer's lot to get my weekly fix.

In the middle of all the F-series trucks was a lone 1998 Dodge 1500 4x2. The owner was walking around and kicking tires. I got out as i saw some new rigs since last week and started talking with this very nice man.

I explained to him that I'm not a salesman but merely an enthusiast. We walked over to the truck that he was looking at and I was able give him a detailed answer to all of his questions.

I then gave him the name and number of the internet salesperson as he said he was coming down again tomorrow to work the deal.

It's amazing how much information does not hit the streets unless you subscribe to a site like this and dedicate yourself to learning.

Hopefully Ford will earn a Dodge convert's business tomorrow.

Tim

That's pretty cool Tim. You've got a lot of product knowledge which is evident from your posts on here. Maybe you've converted a Mopar guy and shown him the light.

Thank you John (blushing)! I've been fortunate and smart enough to learn from all of you.

Hybris is starting off with a positive reputation.
At work if there is a question about a Ford truck I'm the go to guy. Also we have a hardcore Chevy guy so we but heads on trucks fairly often, makes the workplace just that more interesting.
