My hiboy is on 35s. Which is ecactly why I havent posted any pics of it in this thread.

the bronco has the 400 not the 351c or 351m

78/79 was offered with either the 400 or 351m from the factory, backed by a c6 or np435, and into a np203 or 205.

Oh, that specific Bronco has the 400? My mistake. Thought some newb was coming in here saying all broncos came with the 400 haha

Got that right! It's been jumped much harder since then too. Proven it's worth time and time again. At least til the money for Rocks comes up.

Ya, we were unclear to begin with but ya, that one has the 400 and I was bein' dumb.

I'm sorry guys, but I just can't consider a rig with a lift, 44s and HALF ton axles, and close to stock gears bad ***. Yes it might look cool, but so does that rig parked at the mall. Hell I tryed 39.5s on half tons once, I couldn't keep a front axle shaft alive for more than a half an hour. Hell anything more than a idle would twist them off. 35s are even pushing the limits of a half ton.

What the hell ya do in to it, you have a 5.9 in it? You break a shaft at a start?
My rigs at least the Early Broncos' never break shafts, the F150's are solid too, on 35's Next time try not to do 4 wheel burnouts on pavement
