Will These Wheels fit my 80 F350?

I just picked up a 1980 F350. It's pretty dang clean for it's age. Anyway I'm looking to upgrade the wheels from the stock steelies. I've done the Forum search and can't get a strait answer. I've heard you can use GM 8 bolt pattern. These are the wheels in question. http://images.craigslist.org/3n53kd3...9f61c615d2.jpg

Any help on this issue will be appreciated.

When I can get a pic of the truck I'll add to the pic thread.

Oh and by the way it's a 4x4 with Dana 60's...if that matters.

The Ford, Dodge and Chevy 8 lug patterns were all the same up to the early to mid 90's. That still doesn't mean they will clear your suspension or brakes.

I do not believe they will. A buddy of mine tried them on his F250 and claimed he couldnt get them to fit right.

In my research I think I read that they will fit the old 8 lug pattern, but not the new metric bolt pattern. How about the center hole around the hub? I suppose the best thing would be to just try the damn thing and see if it fits. How about the off set, would that be a problem?

You wont know for sure unless you try them, if you're sure the bolt pattern is the same I'd break out the jack and lug wrench

The chevy center hole is too small, it can be machined out, but, they don't bolt righton.

As just stated, Chevy uses a bit smaller center hole. Dodge swaps fine, but not the Chevies.

I'll third that. Only thing I'd add is that "Stock" GM won't fit, but if you find Aftermarkets that are on a Chevy they should. I've never seen aftermarkets made with both size center bores on a 8x6.5 pattern.

I thought about that after posting. I was only focusing on those wheels he has. If they are aftermarket wheels, they will bolt. Another thing about those factory wheels is that the 88 up Chevys tend to use a negative offset wheel.
