Water/meth should get you great EGT's and a few MPG, as well as big horsie numbers.

Well I am going to be one of the pros soon. I figure that since I'm in school to be a Mechanical Engineer that I should give it the 'ol college try if I'm interested in the Idea.

Exactly when does the Intake valves close on these engines?
I need to find out what under what compression the HHO would ignite. It may be that it doesn't ignite until the diesel fuel vapor ignites and generates the neccessary heat to start the combustion of HHO.

Truthfully I'm in the very, very beginning of deciding if it is even feasible. I probably won't even consider putting it on my truck until this upcoming summer. I'll spend this winter maximizing the HHO generation process.

From what I learned from my Diesel Technician courses is that alternative fueling in diesel engines is always veery dangerous. Such and propane. They teach that its not a good idea to do any alternative fueling to diesel. Do to the effects not being that significant. IDK, I just wouldn't mess with it, but keep us updated on what you find and figure out.

haha, A kid i go to school with said he found a site that has a kit for diesel engines. the funny part is they have it rigged up so you can use it as a torch if you want! Even more funny is that they must be putting WAY too much salt in their solution cuase the flame was red.
