VACUUUUM LEAK/CHECK

COULD ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS AN EASY WAY TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A VACUUM LEAK
I HAVE A 1989 E-250 VAN 302 FUEL INJECTED
MY IDLE IS HIGH AND I THINK THATS THE PROBLEM

maples01 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
There are a couple of hard plastic lines that dry and crack, usually running to cruise, AC, and heater controls, but I suspect yours being the throttle position sensor.

DO YOU THINK I SHOULD REPLACE THE THROTTLE POSOTION SENSOR FIRST .
IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK IF ITS BAD

You can check it with a volt-meter, I can't recall the directions for it, but should be easy to find on the net in a search.
