I don't know if it is rare or not. I have a Canadian-built 73 F100 that has a 360 and its a Ranger and it has a shortbed but it is not a 4x4 though. It is a 3-speed on the column.

I have one, so I don't know how rare they are. Mine is 1975 f-100 Ranger XLT 360 4spd 4x4. My brother in law has a 1973 with same specs.both shorties.

Mine has drum too, but I am in the process of doing a complete upgrade. I am building a 390 with electronic ign.,changing my brakes to 4 wheel disc.. I've been trying to find a fuel inj. system that I could afford but I'll probably have to stick with a carb.

DRUM BRAKES WOULD BE STANDARD, NOTHING TO UPGRADE FROM. DISC BRAKES WOULD OF BEEN AN OPTION IF IT WAS OFFERED BACK THEN.

I was trying to find a way to post pics of my truck, haven't figured out how. I inherited this truck from my father in law who bought it new. It has spent it's whole life garaged (when not in use)It's a good looking truck, lot's of chrome, front winch bumper, 4x4. still has the original hubcaps, which are about to be replaced with some nice tires and wheels.
