We have enough snow that I feel its more likely Feb than early Nov.

So why is it that the chat thread changes monthly?

I get email noticing of new postings, and then a thread stops, and asume its quiet, not changed.

Gotta keep things fresh eh

Truly, I am not sure, but one gets used to it.

You can send that snow my way if you want. There is almost no snow left in town right now and maybe 2' on the mountain

You still hauling logs?

I am done for this week.
But am suposed to start hauling again next tuesday, and they say have enough work to keep me busy until allmost Christmas.
Its looking slow after that and not sure what I will find next, but so far so good.
You ride lots in winter?
We have great mountain riding here if you want to come for an outing this winter.

The good thing about having some downtime on the truck is I can do some work on it I notice is in need.
I want to replace all the hydraulic lines, and put new seals on the cylinders as well.
I did the U-joints last weekend, they were old and tired.
I try to keep my logging truck in tip top shape, but it gets so many hours on it, and such bad roads, its always in need of something it seems.

I put on around 2500km/winter.

What are you running for a truck? Sounds like it must be a selfloader? My dad is a truck driver for a small company up here, so I know how much it takes for him to keep his truck in tip top shape.

Oh, and we also have some great mountain riding up this way I am trying to get a buddy to go on a sledding trip this year, but I am not sure if he will be able to afford it.

Please tell me that you don't ride Blue?

Yes its a selfloader, I am an O/O and have done this for too long.

I would be shunned by friends if i rode blue, i ride green.
You apear to ride yellow.
I ride lots, but maybe doing less this winter since I lost my main riding partner to illness.
Please come and ride with me sometime if you want, my wife rides to.
I know a secret spot, and if its just you, will take you there if you promise to not ever say to anyone where it is.
