Freakboy, gtg is a get together. It something we try to do in each of the chapters to meet other members, eat, and have a good time. I attended a gtg in Md last month and it was just fun to get to chat with other members that I already met and some I didn't till that day.

And its going good got my truck running today!!!! just needed a fuel pump and she ran like a beast. i love that little 6cyl

Definately good year trucks. That 300 will last a long time if taken care of. I used to have a 70 F250 (360) and a 77 F100 (300). Those were great trucks and I wish I still had them.

 

the 300 will run FOREVER as long as you take care of it. heck, I was driving aound on 5 cylinders for 50 miles and drove it UNDER ITS OWN POWER to the garage. gotta love a 300. I could say so much about how great they are.

 

I could not of asked for more for my first truck! I think i may do a full rebuild on that engine when i get my truck in my garage. I need to rebuild the clutch first and get the brakes somewhat working. then i can do all the major body work including new floor pans. Im pricing them out right now.

 

Kyle them 300 engines are good had one in my first truck 1970 f100 300 3 on the tree.

Scott glad you got Kyle straight on the GTG wasn't sure he could get PM's on here yet.

Man I need to get out of here this PS3 into wee hours of the night kills come morning.
