well it was 77 highboy with a 7.3L IDI mated to a ZF-5. my 460 has good power, but i only get like 10 mpg no matter how i drive it. with the 7.3, i wouldve had less HP but more torque and get about 5 to 7 mpg better economy. slap a turbo on it, and i wouldve had equal HP and a around 500 torque with a 2 to 5 mpg jump UP in economy. not to mention that it was in a dentside, and i have a profound love affair with dentside trucks...

hey darrell, i know of an old 300 that a rancher has. he bought it for 300, and would probably sell for the same. i dont know what kinda shape its in for sure cause its been sittin around, but it ran when he bought it.

Now I have to run to Lowes. Our neighbor's moronic daughter decided to somehow ram into our mail box, and now it's all screwed up. Super.

I am sure that your mailbox is still standing. When mine got hit a year and a half ago in the middle of the winter, some guy slid right into it due to going too fast for the road conditions and broke the post right off clean at ground level. At least I was able to pound out the kinks in the mailbox and mount it on a temp. post until spring came around.
I also lucked out because 1) I had just returned from getting the mail so I was not in his way 2) He slid right into my yard and was just about to his car before he even stopped and 3) I got $75 out of him to pay for the new post, box and letters plus a little for my labor.
