Hey there 78! I realize that you posted this more than 2 years ago, but I was thinking about taking a drive out there to see if I could find this N series you were talking about. Might be fun to know if it still exists. Any chance you could elaborate on "I15 east of Barstow"? North side, south side, near the Marine Corps base or Yermo? Is it visible from the highway and if so do you recall what color it was? Any more info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, and I hope you get this!

Smack dab in the middle of this sat image within a scattering of old vehicles, 800 meters east of Fort Erwin Rd. Nose of truck facing west/left in image. Light color. Use the frontage road to see better:

Wow! Now that's what I call accuracy!! Thanks 78! I will take a ride out that way as soon as I get back into town and see what I can find out about it. Things happen real slow in the desert sometimes. Maybe someone is just waiting for the right person to show up and take a problem off their hands... I will post progress and pictures here if at all possible.

T950
Since it looks like I am keeping the T950 that I recently purchased, I thought I would post some pictures.... Although it is on need of more mechanical repairs than I would like, it is capable of hauling 10 yards at a time, a nice addition to the 5 yard C600

The modded tilt front end, a very nice addition

And since I am **** retentive about rust, or lack therof....

Lots of extra paint to remove, but no rust!
