Here is a photo of our L8000. Its a little rough around the edges but it doesn't take a bad picture. Its an ex county highway department plow truck so it had live hydraulics which is nice. Its powered by a 3208T CAT, and it has an allison automatic transmission.

Its still there as of this year. Visible from I 15 yes.
Smack dab in the middle of this sat image within a scattering of old vehicles, 800 meters east of Fort Erwin Rd. Nose of truck facing west/left in image. Light color. Use the frontage road to see better:

Wow! Now that's what I call accuracy!! Thanks 78! I will take a ride out that way as soon as I get back into town and see what I can find out about it. Things happen real slow in the desert sometimes. Maybe someone is just waiting for the right person to show up and take a problem off their hands... I will post progress and pictures here if at all possible.

Not a Ford, but my daily driver beside the Excursion

I know it's not a Ford, but I love it and thought you guys might have some fun looking... it pulls my horse trailer when the X isn't around.

1989 F-700 with the 429. Good workhorse for hauling rock till it got what we believed to be a cracked block. Sold it to a guy hording big trucks waiting for scrap to double. Would have just scrapped it ourselves and got more, but they wouldn't take it without the bed cut in half.

Since it looks like I am keeping the T950 that I recently purchased, I thought I would post some pictures.... Although it is on need of more mechanical repairs than I would like, it is capable of hauling 10 yards at a time, a nice addition to the 5 yard C600
