I don't remember off the top of my head; it is an aluminum dump bed so I can actually carry more than if it were steel. I've had her a few years now so the GVWR escapes me; I'll look tomorrow when I'm on the site.

I tried quoting Iron Bull's post but something's wonky and I wind up with everyone's picture in the post. Weird.

Anywho... I like the rig but are you aware that running only the outside rims of a dually is murder on the wheel bearings? The wheel acts like a lever on the inner and outer bearings, multiplying the load on them by several times. You need to make room for the inside wheels and run them along with the outside ones.

I spotted this Jerr-Dan wrecker packing LTL9000 at a tow truck show yesterday. I didn't get any specifics but the bunk and a few other things tell me it was tractor in it's first life. Oil pan tells me it's Cat powered.

Another Ford at the same show but this F700 was used as part of a demonstration. At the start it was parked as if it was going to be towed. It was lifted, turned 90 degrees, rolled onto it's left side and lowered to the ground. It was righted with air cushions but the wrecker was kept in place to help control it. The outfit I drive for on weekends donated use of it for the show.

This Super Duty dump still soldiers on as a support unit for the outfit that hosted the show.

I have posted pictures of this truck before, but never with the cattle trailer on it. I took a load of cows to the auction barn last week with it. It can still earn it keep.
