looking to buy 2010 Lariet

Ive been looking for a month to buy a newer used FX4 F150 with heated leather seats and not having much luck finding one. So now Im thinking of going with a Lariet even a new one. I built one online, a 4x4 supercab with just a few goodies and came up with a price of about 39k, msrp. What could I get something like this for? Im not looking for 0%, more towards of getting money off, anyone have any numbers before I go and pursue this route?

The Lariat has heated and cooled seats. The cooled seats are nicer than you would think.

as a starting point, just look up the invoice price and then subtract all current rebates. That's the price you should shoot for at a mininum. You should be approaching 7k to 8k off the MSRP sticker price. In some larger markets, people have gotten up to 10k off sticker.

heated seats are standard on the Lariat, but cooled only comes when you get the captains chairs.

Read the fine print fellow members, because...

The rebate only applies....as the ads say..."in lieu of financing" (in otherwords...if you're paying cash).

How many ppl can fork out around 35 grand for one a these trucks?

btw: You cannot get the 6.2L in an 2010 F150...except in the Raptor.

You can get the 6.2L in a Super Duty.

MSRP

ok went and found a 2010 truck with a MSRP of $40,635. the dealer will only give me two factory rebates for a total of $2500. The trade on my old truck is ok but thats it. Should they be able to discount this truck? By the way they dont even have the truck its at another dealer 200 miles away.

You shouldn't be paying sticker at all.

Here's your total price:
Invoice price (find this at a site like edmunds.com - 15% off sticker usually)
Minus down payment
Minus rebates
Minus trade-in
Plus tax, title, license, destination

If you're saying they want $38,135 for that truck, walk out laughing.

Try and find someone who can give you an X-Plan PIN. Another plus with X-Plan is a maximum charge of $75 in dealer documentation fees. I took delivery on my 2010 XLT in September, and in addition to the $3,000 in rebates offered when I ordered it; there was $500 in friends and family bonus cash and $1,000 off for an XLT sales promotion. I also had a $750 marketing coupon that was attached to my son's monthly Ford owners magazine. Rebates brought total to $5,250 below X-Plan or just over $9,000 below MSRP. With the holidays coming up, and auto sales heading into their usual pre-Christmas slowdown, the friends and family bonus cash might reappear. Any salesman who wants to earn your business can take a little time and check 'Vincent' for any applicable rebates currently in effect. It's not like the customers are standing in line at their cubicles waiting to buy.
