I replaced our actuator in for the rear hatch easily enough. I bought a cheap replacement for around 15$ if that. I thought I got it from "all around electronics" after searching various forums on what people had used as a replacement. I can't find an all around electronics in the googles right now, and I need to get back outside and finish my starter on the F250. If no one else comes up with a good source by later today I will do what I can to find where I got it from. I just moved so everything is in disarray...

Here we go:
All Electronics | Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Parts and Supplies at Discount Prices

When I was living in California, it cost me $5.50 + $7 Shipping + .40 tax. Came with a little bracket which I didn't use, and a couple of rods, one of which I did use.

I sorta finangled it in to place where it would actuate. You can't really do a straight 1 for 1 swap with the original and this piece, but it took me maybe 3/4 hour including getting the panel off and back on. Had it in place over a year no problems.

thanks for the reply, I'm sure the acuator will fix the door lock problem, but even with the panel off and manually locking the door, the window will still open. I think somthing in the mechanism is not working correctly. I'm going to take the whole thing out and lube all the moving parts to see if that fixes it.

Hopefully it will be something obvious, the entire lock mechanism is probably around $400 after tax et al.
