Bronco rear fuel tank

Hi guys. I am new here. I have a 96 powerstroke. I am lookin for to install a bronco tank in the rear of my truck. But i need to know if there were certain years that used steel tanks instead of galvanized. Diesel fuel will eat the galvanized metal and wreak havic with my injection system. Thanks for any help

Jeremiah

My 1990 Bronco has galvanized tank, pictures can be seen in My Garage, took the tank off and the fuel pump off to check a fuel issue.

So I would say look to 1991 or after tanks.

The 1990 has the skidplate as part of the tank support. 8 bolts and nuts, 13 and 14mm.

Look into plastic. Someone on here posted where you could get plastic not long ago. Might have been Jeffs...
