Anybody have an R Vision?

Wife and I are probably going to Ebay our Coachman... IT is OK but we would like a slide out and the Coachman just doesnt seem as well constructed as our 1st camper (a Starcraft).

Long story long there is an R Vision that is a little bigger with a slide at a nearby RV dealer. It is a 2001 with a great price on it.... Is this a good well made line of campers?

I have seen them in AZ. Most have been 5er toy haulers. They seam to be popular in the SW. Have not seen any in the NW. Some makes are popular in area by area. May be its dealers or prices. A used unit is only as good as how it was cared for by the PO(s).

The R Vision we were looking at is still for sale.... I read the floors can be fixed by putting in extra supports. It is in pretty good shape but doesnt feel as well built as our first camper (a star craft).

A local wants to get out from under a Dutchman which seems pretty sturdy. Problem is they owe like 8500. It is a 2006 27ft with slide.

Cant buy anything yet. My 2003 Coachman went for $4500 on Ebay but so far I only have the deposit.

Check out some of the rv forums and ask what their opinion of R-Vision is. I did the same when looking for a trailer last year, you should get a pretty good feel for what people think.

We have quite a few of the r-visions out here. We looked at the Max-Lite brand made by r-vision before settling on our Keystone Outback. We felt the build quality was a little better on the Keystone. Someone said it before - a lot will depend on how the trailer has been maintained. We've been very happy with our pre-owned Outback and have had zero problems with our unit. Plus, there's a great site for support with very knowledgeable people. Check out "Outbackers.com". Good luck.

A local is looking to get out from under a 2004 Dutchmen. They bought it new and have kept very good car of it. We looked at that one and it is strong possibility.
