I'm hoping to be competitive as well. I have a few more mods to complete before putting it on the dyno and track. I will know what it's capable of before RRE.
I want to run Rick at our next PAA meeting; probably in the next few weeks. I will see what my competition is made of then.

I missed out on alot this year at RRE. I want to take part next year. I don't want to be disappointed. I knew with my bad HPOP that I didn't have a chance. I hope to give a good showing, if I can cut a good light.

I missed out also Roland I had the new clutch and didnt want to mess up there so I did dyno but didnt hit the track there at RRE09. But I have finally ran it here and it was a blast the truck runs fine once I let the clutch out to get off the line.

I have 1 less pedal to worry about, so I won't get confused. I think I'll figure it out after the first time. I hope to get to try the local track before RRE'10 and have my launch technique down by then. May even get it dynoed too. There is a shop with a dyno just 25 minutes from me.

You guys are killin me! I didn't get there in time for the drags but still had a great weekend listening to all the bench racin afterwords. Would love to run mine just once. but it wouldn't be worth the hassle. I just can't see trying to race an 11,000 lb truck.
but with the 4:88 gears I could get a great launch. Come to think of it with the 6sp and the splitter bet I could get the award for the most shifts in 1 pass!

Well, I can honestly say come next year, I'm treadmilling a good 50 pounds off me, the cap is coming off and my truck getting an operation, Swamps or even Casserley's is an option, really leaning towards the Swamps though and we'll see what happens. I'll be practicing my launches out in front of my house from time to time, neighbors won't mind. big poppa will be ready next year for sure, here that "Same truck as mine" Whats cool about this is, we all seen each others mods and trucks and runs down the track and before now and the RRE-Y2K event, its upgrade time, going to be a good one this coming year..

The award will be all the beer you can drink at Ricks after the races. Added bonus is that we won't keep waking you up if you are outside with us.

I'll help also.

My live tuning is right around the same time as the drags. I wonder if Jody won't mind a few runs down the track during my session.

Don't worry though, you can have some of my man sized beers. It's all good.
I guess I will never live that down. . The only thing I hope to have different is a BTS and I may have to go to Jody and get my tunes reburned for the BTS. . I will be a few hundred lbs lighter next year.

All I will need is one run Mike. I don't plan on beating everyone there, just having the best time will be good enough, AGAIN.

I don't mind the man beers. We can have a man beer then have a little beer. That way we can have the best of both worlds. lol

So that's an 1/8th mile track?? Man.... Me and my Dodge buddy will be going up to the local 1/4 mile track one of these days. If I can beat or keep up with his tuned '06 CR, I'll be happy.

It is an 1/8 mile track Joe. Nothing really fancy either. A few of us were talking and it has a back yard feel to it. Kinda cool IMO.

pwstroker69 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I like the Garrett too, I blame it on my favorite transportation EVER being powered by two of them!

Right, but with a 2wd, I think I'll be at a big disadvantage on a half-1/4. LOL I need that second half to catch up for my lack of traction! On the other hand, I guess I'll just be showing how good I am at

My first run was a 10.4 in 2wd. Then 9.4 in 4x4. Thats a lot of difference in the 1/8th mile.
