03 valvetrain knock

I have a 03 and drove it Saturday morn. and all was good . Later in the day I started it and a loud knocking is coming from under the drivers side valve cover . A friend told me it sounds like a loose rocker or bad lifter . I only have 66k miles , change the oil religously, 2wd,auto, any help or ideas would be great .

Sounds like a cam follower has fell off. Remove the valve cover and have a look around.
