Check out the current Hot Rod mag. $1800 system adjusts itself.

Oh, I know you want to spend months cobbing together a system that will work only half the time, but think about the possibility of driving the truck, instead of working on it.....

Do you need a V8 for rock crawling? I see the engine in the photo, but why not look at a FI 300 6.

I aint into rock crawling but why do you need a big V8 engine, I thought crawling was more about getting over things slowly, where gearing would come more into play.

You might want to check out the following weblink:

Fuel, Air, Spark, Technology (FAST) won the 2009 Hot Rods Best new product award for developing a do-it-yourself EFI. What I have heard from other hot rodders is that this system works great.

do you really have to ask why i would use a v8......

really though......ive run the 300 before.....great low end torque...but no guts when i needed a dose od HP.

I'm a huge FE fan, and was not trying to be funny. You can grab a factory FI from a 96 & back truck, but any FI for the FE will have to be made up custom and ?? cost. I also understand the odd angles requires FI.

That was the big reason for my post. I was under the assumption that for rock crawling short burst of torque was what was needed.
