wont hold charge

Ok so my batteries on my '91 IDI won't stay charged. I got the alternater checked and its fine. Any ideas??

Disconnect the positive battery cable, place a test light between cable and post. If the light is on then there is a power usage. Start pulling the fuses one by one until the light goes out....... check all items on that fuse to see which is on.

If there is no power usage get your batteries checked, how old are they. Always replace in pairs, with 850 CCA minimum batteries.

^ what he said but its better to use a mulitmeter because the draw may not be large enough to light a test light.
