shaking and stalling truck w/ white smoke from exhaust....HELP!!!
the other day i pulled my 2004 f150 out in the driveway...it was running fine then a second later the truck started shaking and blowing white smoke out of the exhaust. the truck shut off then i tried starting it again and had to keep the throttle to the floor to keep it running....it only hit 1100 rpms at max...truck shakes bad and wont drive...towed it to shop and test said pcm fail...what do i do? does anyone know? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
The white smoke usually means blown head gasket(s), but if the shop test shows your computer failed, looks like you need a new one. You also maybe able to get another pcm from a junk yard.
