DRW or SRW

Still pulling parts off of my 94, almost ready to convert my 89 f350 2wd drw to a 4wd and I'm sure that the gear ratios are different.

What opinions do you guys have on swapping the SRW also so the gears match. I'd loose the two extra wheels but......

The main use of my truck is to pull my curbing trailer (12,000 lbs) and occasionally haul rock or dirt for landscaping jobs.
I'm not that attracted to the dually part of the truck as I mainly purchased it for the dump box and the crew cab.

The stability will be reduced considerably if you go the SRW route.

If you are positive the gears are different, swap the gears from one housing to the other.

I suppose that would be an easy fix

Would I need to adjust anything or should they swap over?

Goodie! Ya gotta keep the dual wheels, if anything ya always got two spare wheels on the ground. Also Dave is correct on the degraded stability if ya go SRW.
