weak HPOP, now what

well after talking to Jody, finding a gauge, and doing some testing I have found out why my truck smokes so much when running the tunes, my hpop is weak and in need of replacement. It will be fine for awhile as long as I run it in stock, so my question is what should I do now?? Is there some where I can send mine to and let them rebuild it for me, or should I buy a new one? I know I will to upgrade to at least a 17* pump, but where should I get it. I have looked at the adrenaline pump, but right now I am still keeping all of my options on the table, thank you for any suggestions....

FARM69 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I would check out the Adrenaline pump from Dieselsite. The reviews on good on this system and it's better than running a 17 degree pump.

If I remember correctly the price is hard to beat. I'm pretty sure you can send your pump in and they will re-man it or you can get a new one.

I used the same port you would use for a HPX, I went to my local hydraulic shop and got a 3000 psi gauge and an adaptor to fit it to the head, my pump would only generate 1500 psi in the race mode at 3200 rpm. it would peak at 2500 psi for just a second while going up through the rpms. I have looked at the adrenaline, and 600 may be a good price, but I thought I heard of of some one who would build up a 15* for a good price but I cannot remember who it was

I love my adrenaline. I could never get mine over 3k without it missing and bucking. Now I can take it all the way to the red line-smooth.

They call it small oil, its inbetween big oil pumps and the 17* they put on SD's. The 17* is alot better then the 15*.

The adrenaline is about $600.... not a bad price.

How much do the terminator 17* conversions cost?

Its up in the front of the motor, in front of the fuel filter housing. The top of the hpop is the tank that holds the oil. The hpop is below that and has two high pressure hoses that come off of it and connects to the heads, one on each side.
