Have you had any difference after your DPF was replaced
About 600 miles ago a dealer replaced my DPF. The funny thing is my truck was in for something else (the insulation pad on the fire wall was coming off) and they called and asked if they could do this work also. Since that time my regin cycle has stayed the same right at 400 miles but I have lost about 10% on my mileage. The cooler weather could account for this. My question is what have some of you experenced after your DPF was replaced.
Just thinking out loud now. If your truck has black pipes which some dealers say is normal can it still pass an emmision test?
My truck is an 08 F450 with has the 4.88 rear which I now consider to be a collectors item. I love it, and I want to thank the guy in Califorina and the dealers that don't know how to fix these that made Ford buy it back. It just needed an EGR cooler. Your truck is very happy in Minnesota.
