Weird noise

Best way I can describe it is, sounds like the noise when you rub a wet finger around the rim of a glass. This happens when I let off the accelerator. Doesnt do it all the time. I dont see anything out of the odinary. No puking around the cap. Runs fine. Just a really aggrivating nosie.

Does it hot or cold. Temp is not a factor. Neither is speed. Could be 30 or 80 mph. As soon as I lift my foot a tad bit, I get the noise when its doing it. Some days, it doesnt do it. 90% of the time it does.

ok. take a look at the egr valve and see if the gasket has gone bad. you may also see some soot around the outside were it sits in the intake. also look for black soot marks on the firewall near the Y-pipes
