I doubt it will get any bigger then a TS, Gulf water is only 79 or 80 degrees. We could use a little rain though before the dry season really kicks in.
That's part of Florida living, sunny and beautiful-- THEN-- Rain and Thunder Storm's, then 20 minute's later it's beautiful again!! Gotta love it--- I did!!

Casey, I actually live a little further north than what you think. I am about 15 miles from Lake Ontario and about 20 miles or so east of Rochester. Where I am at, I can get lake effect snow off of Lake Erie, but mainly from Lake Ontarion and we usually get around 120" of snow each winter.

My mistake, I thought you might be from the southern end of the lakes, like Hammond Sport or Watkins Glen area, I have a Uncle that lives on Honeoye Lake as well. I lived down a ways just south of Corning NY just across the border in the small town of Lawrenceville PA. We use to get allot of snow back in the 80's, back when you could ride the snowmobiles all winter long. Those where the days
