1966 Manual Trans 11-splines?

I found a 1966 3-spd manual that I want to put into my 1985 F-150 but the guy said his trans has 11-splines, mine has 10. Can anyone verify that a 1966 has 11-splines? Thanks.

You are obviously talking about the transmission input - the clutch end, not the driveshaft end ;-)

I just counted mine and there are 10 splines. (Old 3-speed happens to be on the garage floor)

Sorry about that, yes it is on the input shaft the part that goes into the clutch. The guy is suppose to call me tonight and I will ask him to count them again. Thanks for the response.
