Who makes a good down pipe?

Just curious who you think makes the best down pipe. I am thinking of getting one right now.

i would call Dale at tymar performance and get one of his. i screwed up and got MBRP pipe cuz it was the cheapest. well guess what? it rubs if you don't put it in PERFECT. and it doesn't have the flange to bolt up to the factory cat pipe, which i used the cat flange(not the cat) on my exhaust when we built it so i had to cut the flange off the factory downpipe to rig on my MBRP pipe. i would go tymar all the way if i did it again, which i probably will eventually

I did a tymar 3-4inch downpipe and it fit great. Just a little firewall seam modding

Tymar makes a very good downpipe. He can do 3", 3" to 3.5", or 3" to 4". You can also have it powdercoated so it will last longer and transfer heat better.

I have a cheap downpipe from Bean's Diesel. It said MBRP on the website but when it got to my house it was a Diamond Eye. Fits pretty well, rubs if it isn't in the right place like Strokin's MBRP pipe, but mine has the flange on it so I could re-use my old flange on my new 4" exhaust.

Tymar costs more but it's worth it!

I did the Diamond Eye and had no problems and was very cheap to boot!

How do I get in touch with Tymar do they have a website? Where does the "Diamond Eye" come from?

Future Home of Tymar Performance i think is his website, but it doesn't have anything there except for Dales number so you gotta call him up during the day. diamond eye is alright i guess. i have never used any of their exhaust parts, but i have heard good and bad on there products...

MagKarl is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Dale/Tymar does everything by phone or email. By the way, he also sells Diamond Eye exhaust, I wouldn't be surprised if they build his downpipes. They are located in Eastern Oregon. Diamond Eye Performance - About Us
I have the 3-4" DP and Diamond Eye 4" exhaust from Dale.
