Remote Start question..an odd one

Using my valet 561r has disabled my dash lamps(gauge panel back lighting) and lights my turn signal indicators brightly. previously this was an intermitten problem and restarting with remote remedied. now constant, any time headlamps are on the dash lamps off and turn indicators on. any suggestions?? help?? Called Directed Electronics tech support and was told that a bad bulb or ground in the turn lamps was a more likely culprit...I tried to examine all the underdash connections I could find for the remote start, did not see any thing suspect...Posted this here a while ago for Ford techs thinking I might hear something unexpected, but the trouble disappeared for a month or so and I forgot about it. But I am wondering now if any techs or installers have seen this sort of thing before? Sound reasonable? crazy? mysterious short some where hidden or defective remote parts? bulbs/sockets? REALLY appreciate any input, THANKS!!!!

well...

As I worked through the dash and began pulling the gauge cluster...
I had the lights on and must have jarred or moved something on the bak of the cluster that turned off the turn indicators and properly lit the back lights.

Wished that would have happened yesterday or last night as I spent the entire day traveling, mostly in the dark. Fearing that Even though I tore into this as far as I dared (pulled the cluster and examined everything and anything I could see or think to look at) this is going to happen again. Started, restarted, locked, unlocked with the remote and coul not get it to F up...fingers are crossed, but not holding my breath. If anyone has anything to share, I'd appreciate it. THANKS!!!!
