Top, easy to pull it through. Let it drain first then put your finger in the center hole to hold it as you pull. Don't do when it is hot.

mfp4073 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
with my lift (stock 4x4) its very easy to do through the wheel well, just pull back the protective skirt
