351W for '54 F100

I am looking to build a 351W for my 1954 F100. I would like to have 350-400 HP and TQ at the crank. My original thought is a basic rebuild kit, aluminum heads, and a new cam.

Will aftermarket heads and cam be enough to get to these numbers?

Would it be easier to start with a F4TE block or is an older one ok?

How much to have machine work and purchase all needed parts?

hmmm - I was wondering the same thing for putting a 351w in my 74 supercab. I came down to this section to do some research and I'm finding quite a bit of info, but I'll subscribe to this thread to see what the experts say.
