I'll be watching. I never miss a race. What do you think the smaller restrictor plate will do to the competitors? It will also be interesting to see how the new ford engine will perform although Talledega isn't the best place to find out because of the restrictor plate.
I will probably watch just to see what happens in the points chase, but I HATE plate "racing" if that's what you want to call it.

If the weather's nice, I'll be listening to the race this Sunday... if it's not, I'll have the TV on. Talledega is'nt my favourite race. Never have liked "plate" tracks.

I don't like it either but I still enjoy watching them. I've been to Daytona many times before restrictor plates and to Talladega once before they were restricted. The unrestricted racing was much better and there was a lot better competition then with lots more lead changes than today. And by lead changes I mean under the green flag passing back and forth. Most lead changes in todays racing is during green flag pit stops and caution pit stops. I am personally tired of nascar and the race announcers talk about how competitive the racing is based on number of lead changes when they were all basically done during pit stops and not on the race track.
There will more than likely be 1 or two big clusters of cars.
I was laughing during the Daytona 500 (I think it was) when Jr. radioed in to the crew and said I'm dealing with a gas factor, a loose factor and a wimp factor...TELL MARK TO HIT ME WOULD YAH!...LOL
I will be pulling for Carl Edwards as usual, he is due for a win............too much bad luck of late, GO CARL!!!!!!!

Don't count out Greg Biffle either, too much talent there to not post a win sometime!
