if you can do the total job for 500,(the diff,6tires and rims, dually rear fenders, front rotors/spindle adapters, and all the unexpected little things that always come up)... good for you. i know from lots of experience it is not cheap.my 14 ply rear tires were more than $800 alone. my 6 dually rims and stainless simulators were $900.but when i build my trucks i do use new parts as much as i can.that does add to the cost too.so if you have the parts aready from a donor truck,it will help cut costs alot. good luck.when your done,i bet it will be more than the $500 you estimate now. it all depends on what you can buy cheap, and what you have to pay large for.

The dually in the picture i posted packed a big Miller welder and had a heavy hiab on it.
The hiab was so heavy it almost tipped my tractor (45 hp farm tractor) when I was unloading it off the trailer.
So that old truck has packed alot of weight alot of miles.

What ever happened to the original poster? I guess he left because he was tired of being the only one able to identify a Windsor.
