has anybody switched from coils to leafs?

How hard is it? i have coilsprings on my f100 but for the lift i want i would rather buy leafsprings. how hard will it be?

Why do you want leaf springs instead? just curious, but anyway You would have to weld up mounting points for the leaves, and probaly some kind of mounting plate onto the axle tubes. Honestly, I think coils would be best for the front. I'm pretty sure they are alot cheaper than a pack of springs too...

newbie here asking a stupid question and dont know where to post it can u use rear leaf springs on the front of a truck reason i ask is i am staight axle swapping a 94f150 and i already have 6 inch rear springs

this probably doesnt matter, im almost positive it doesnt but since that lift says 77-79 will it still work on my 75?
