Cylinder number

I have a v-10 excursion and i am trying to find out which plug is the number 7 cylinder?

The one closest to the radiator is #1 and I believe they alternate from one bank to the other back from there.

That's what I thought at first, but it turns out it's not like that anymore. Looking at the engine fromt he front, on your left is 1-5, and on your right is 6-10, going strait back. At least that's how my expedition was, but 1-4 and 5-8, and my explorer 5.0, 1-4 and 5-8. Ford guy said they changed it mid 90's or something like that.

Also, replacing cap 6 on a v8 is easy, 2nd on the right. But I needed cap 4, which I thought, using the alternating method, would be #6. However, turns out it's way the hell back on the left side by the firewall with 1/4" of room to fit a socket, 6" extention, wratchet, to unbolt the cap, then unscrew the plug, all the while praying nothing drops down in the cylinder.
