wweathers is starting off with a positive reputation.
I'm not a rookie!! I grew up working deisel engines and tractors. Granted gas engines are a little different, but 4cycle is still 4 cycle. I have overhauled older ford engines(360 and 302) before, and small foreign engines with overhead Cam. This system is not adding up to me. It was Timed by the book and with the advice of people in the know as my timing chains had no identifing marks on them. As I pull the engine around to TDC on each cylinder the Cam lobes are where you would expect them to be. I have identified which valves are the intake and exhaust. Maybe you did not understand me when I said I put 20 lbs psi in and it stayed 20 lbs in the cylinder. I will redo the test using 100 lbs psi.
