61' unibody progress over 4 yrs....

Hi, just joined the forums and wanted to introduce myself and truck ;] Been a work in progress for the last few years and its now getting pretty close to being done except finishing up the engine mods. Almost everything is original minus a few things. Anyway here are a few pics....

thanks for the comments. im going to change the wheels to OEM or some close to it most likely. as for the engine, we did a 302 mildly built with the c6 trans, 9" rear and 411 gears for weekend cruising. didnt want gears that low but i got the complete rear end for almost nothing and it already had the 411's in it.

thanks cobra. going to update the suspension this weekend just got all my no-limit engineering coil-over IFS in for the front and back. its all based off of a camaro and supposed to be stronger than the mustang 2 setup. ill post up progress pics if anyone is interested

Welcome. Really nice Uni. Im working on a 62 and a 63. I used No Limits Wide ride and Fat bar kit excellent quality. Some more pics of the bed and info would be greatly appreciated it looks very nice thats what I had in mind for my 63.

did you pull your motor to install the no limit front IFS? ill take some more pics of my bed in the morning and post them up for you. ill have to ask my friend where he got the wood from, i cant remember but we just treated it and put the stainless strips in to hold it all down.
