Vibration in the 2k rpm range?

Okie doke
Truck runs like a bat outa hell, but the sucker has got a nasty vibration around 2400 rpm's

I can't feel it with the clutch in and stopped, but I can hear a warble kinda vibration sound.
Sucky thing is, its right where 70mph is. so i gotta drive slow.

I'm guessing its the DMF? What other things Could it be? Just so I have some other things to check out.
Is there anyway to check the DMF without breaking the trans loose?

Can I repair the DMF, or do I have to replace it? I dont have the money for a SMF kit from Valair right now. That's on my wish list.

ok i shoulda read this post before i posted on your other thread. i think it might be your DMF. check the tranny fluid just for grins???

there is no fixing the DMF. either you replace it or you live with it being screwed up and wait for it to implode. LoL. just whenever you can get a valair, but also check the FPR screen just to make sure its not the engine jumpin around

LoL.

I don't recall if It was bad before.
But it its noticeable now.
Any vibrations I had before I attributed to the tires or motor not firing right.
So if it was vibrating before as the engine. I duno.

The only other thought I have is that I'm short on oil. haha.

hahahaha. right on. ya your HPOP prolly don't got what the injectors want, but that wouldn't make it vibrate. i ran my stage 1's on the 15* for awhile and never had that problem

Great, now the truck wont start.

GPR is really hot. I don't have an amp meter to test how well its working though. =\
its turning on, but the truck isn't getting warm enough to keep running, a few cylinders will fire then it quits.

Cool. Plugged it in and got it started.

Was a little low on oil too. but that didn't solve the no start problem earlier. I can't belive I somehow lost that much. Was way low. Maybe lost some driving. Who knows. Turbo does leak a little.

Maybe it wont rattle as much now at 2400 RPMs with the right oil. haha.

Stancore replacement is in the mail!!
Go big or go home folks.
