just wondering how many trucks show up, and type of trucks, etc

Mack I wanted to go today so bad I could taste it but with the rain coming down in buckets on the way up I just turned around. A good many trucks were there last time I went. Mostly the bigger 1's!!!!! I love the big 1's Especialy the Corbitts and the 50's macks. There were a good many others..some pickups. Mostly 40's 50's. I saw 2 or 3 in the 60's there last time....mack

 

There is a nice litle show coming up next weekend at Chimney Rock NC. It is on hwys 74/64 in Rutherfordton co. Usually 125 or so really nice Ford trucks there.

would a 68 f-100 be at home with the big boys??

we went to clayton saturday, it was a nice car show, unfortunately it rained before i got to check out all the trucks.

john, i would love to go to chim-rock but it would be close to a 600 mile roundtrip for us. if i fall into some $ between now and fri we will be there.

have to get to p-forge in '03 though-

swampy, one of our NCFTO members had his Mach 1 in that show. I know about the trip, it is a 4 hr. one way trip for us in Durham. A day in the mountains, in a meadow full of Ford trucks (125 or so) is close to heaven. Meeting up with the NCFTO members and other FTEers, is a great way to spend the day.
