Trading in my 2009 F-250

Thinking of trading in my F-250. For a Toyota Tundra. I'm just sick of the engine and the steering with this truck.

Well, Toyota Tundra is a good truck. Good luck with the new purchase.

why not go down to a F150 then. Still pretty go on tow/hauling ratings but gets you back into a gas motor that is proven.

Also gets you the smoother a-frame front end. Better turning radius too.

Give you a tip: Don't sit on the Tundra tailgate if you like the contour it left the factory with. Major weakness.

Have fun with the Yota, can't say we'll miss you, SD's are the only way to go.

Tundra has best in class engine and tranny but the key words are "in class." F250 is a far stronger truck. Also, the Tundra has terrible "bed bounce" and the tailgate is beyond weak.

Personally I think all 1/2 trucks are waste of space. They have a payload equal to sedans and are always overloaded as their size is confused with strength. Keep the F250 (if you actually have one) or downgrade to a Tacoma and save on gas.

My brother in law bot a new Tundra and he lives in northern Georgia, severe mountains. I was complaining about 10 mpg fuel consumption on my dually F-350. He was getting 9 mpg on his Tundra on same roads. They sell a lot of them. And, if memory serves, every ten years or so they scrap out a few million.

If you need a truck/truck, keep the FORD. If you want a shinny day ride, get the TOYOTA. No comparison in my book.

First of all Yes I do have a F-250 Super Cab and I'm trying not looking for attention or taking crap. I posted this on here to hopefully get some advice why I should keep it. Yes I know I'm not comparing apple to apples. I do wish I still have my 2007 F-250. My 6.0 was perfect. Gotta love the rattle.

You said it yourself, you can't compare a SD to a 1/2 truck.

If is too much truck(aka more than you need) go ahead and get the Toyota, but i will tell you, from a former Toyota owner myself, they really are not all they are crack up to be. Toyota has been riding on their name for quite a few years now.
