Have you drained the fuel bowl when the light comes on?

Run a hose from your filter bowl drain valve to a bottle and drain into and then let it set and see if you still have water. You did not mention if you had drained the bowl or not. If you have not then your water is still there. There is a 5/16" small line near the front of the engine on the pasenger side not far from the CPS, thats the drain line. 3/8's or so hose should work.
If there is no water its either the sensor in the bowl or the actual switch which in front of the fuel bowl laying there with other wiring harness, I think it has 4 wires. Dunno its been a while.
Yes i have drained it several times, sometimes it seems to help after i drive it for a while, but when i shut it down ,the next time i start it ,same thing, just got back from a 2500 mile trip, same thing,
has anyone replaced their sensor.
Jim
Like I said earlier, the sensor is missing in mine.
either failed, or they just removed it.
I have no issues. but then, I don't suggest doing this either.
I hit the drain on mine once a week.
