1953 f-100

I have a 53 F100 with a fordomatic tranny. Does anybody know if Ford ever put the emblem on the grill rather than on the bottom of the hood? My truck currenty have the Fordomatic on the grill and I don't think it's correct.

Don't know about the emblem location. Someone will be along shortly to help with that but I just wanted to welcome you to FTE. Try to get some pictures posted of your truck, we all like pictures.

Pretty sure that is correct for the 53 model year before they changed it to the hood.
