65 f600 vin question.

I am working on my familys 1965 f600 dump truck.There is some confusion as to the engine.It is a FE.the vin begins F60AL so i guess L is the engine code.Is it a 352 2bl code? I think that is what is in it.
Thanks in advance.

FE engines were not installed in any F Series truck larger than an F350.

F60 = F600 2WD

A = 330 2V Medium Duty FT engine

L = Michigan Truck Assembly Plant
---------------------------------
The letter A was the VIN engine code for the 330 2V M/D FT engine in 1964/65 only.

The letter C was used for the 330 2V M/D engine: 1966/72.

1966/74: A = 240 1V I-6.
-------------------------
FT engines look similar to FE engines, why ppl confuse one with the other.
